Question about Firewall and IP blocking

If you have enabled IP or User Agent Blacklisting and added IP addresses to the blacklist, it works as part of the firewall. The firewall runs before WordPress by using the auto_prepend_file directive in the .htaccess file to load aios-bootstrap.php, which executes all firewall rules.

If the .htaccess auto_prepend_file directive is not supported or does not work on your server, aios-bootstrap.php is added at the beginning of wp-config.php instead. This ensures that the firewall runs before any other WordPress code is executed.
