    Quick question about momentary connection drops. If my SMTP provider times out for a second, does the plugin automatically retry sending the message, or does it just fail permanently? Really appreciate the info

    Hi @lucianoa ,

    WP Mail SMTP does not have an automatic resend option, this means emails will fail if the mailer (smtp provider) connection fails.

    Mailers can retry soft bounces a few times, but this will happen only after your site succesfully handed emails to them for sending.
