    mtporter,

So what you will want to do is make sure that your past and future query options, in the options page of the WP Meetup dashboard, are set the way that you want them (http://puu.sh/i4Zd4/2aca681ebb.png), any event that falls inside that interval will be considered an active event and will be shown in event lists and calendars. Once you have those set correctly make sure that you have also checked the box under database options for events outside query range to be automatically set to inactive (http://puu.sh/i4Z4K/2331ebff3e.png). These events will still be shown in your events page, under inactive, but will not be displayed in event lists and calendars. You can optionally also have events outside of your query range automatically deleted from the plugin database. Both of these options will help you clean out old events.

Hopefully this is what you were looking for,
    Thanks,
    -Charlie

Hmm, well, client wants to display on an archive page meets that happened as far back as 2008.

I actually did the query twice with 2 sets of values thus causing the ‘order’ to be incorrect and so I removed them all in PHPmyAdmin and did another query and problem was fixed.
