Hello, a client runs a support site where the search term ‘system.log’ or ‘whatever.log’ will be used quite often. When I test relevanssi the search returns a 403. I can well imagine this being a security feature but it looks like the URL rewrite is messed up?

    Thank you,
    Victor

Sounds like a security setting on a server level, so you need to ask the hosting provider to help with that. Relevanssi won’t do this, Relevanssi will just silently replace periods with spaces.

Thanks for pointing that out. I’ve searched around and found a setting in .htaccess that prevented requests containing ‘.log’.
