Queries in every page? Slowing wordpress

    From Query Monitor I see that 105 queries are executed every time a WordPress page loads, even if that page doesn’t contain any shortcodes that display links. Why is that? This slows down WordPress loading considerably.

    The simplest answer is because I am an amateur single developer making this completely free plugin with no premium or license options. I have never spent that much time checking how much my plugin slowed down other pages on sites.

    Could you tell me where you specifically saw in Query Monitor all of the queries that specifically relate to Link Library? I am not familiar with how to use this plugin.
