I’ve created a product and designate it a “subscription”. When I shop that product on my store the price field and quantity field appear by defalt. When I use the dropdown and select any multiple of this product the shopping cart only registers 1. No matter what I do I can not add multiple subscriptions. I’ve deactivated all other plugins, used. Any Suggestions.

The subscription implementation is admittedly weak, largely because it is supported through PayPal Standard which does not allow you to setup multiple automatic recurring billing agreements at the same time. As such, Shopp is set to limit the subscriptions to 1 per session and while a subscription is in the cart, it cannot be combined with other retail products (like normal one-time payment shipped goods, downloads or donations).

The entire subscription approach is being redesigned to provide a much more resilient and flexible solution in the future.

It would be best to edit the product template and remove the quantity field which exists in the default templates for other normal one-time payment products where you can order multiple quantities.

Thanks Jonathan, I appreciate your response. I worked thru this issue with a Shopp associate over the last week or so. I’ll look forward to those subscription improvements. The standard “donate” button from paypal provides an option to make payment “recurring”… that would be a nice addition when improvements are made too. I have several non profits that would benefit greatly from this feature. Thanks!
