Yes, you are absolutely right. We had to make our own version that looks similar to you solution to make it work – our customer could not wait 2 weeks for an answer/support from you.
Problems started for us with your (at that time) latest update.
We have not cloned your product – everything was rewritten.

Thanks for your feedback. We are indeed too overloaded here with pending requests and plugin updates keeping up with the updates in WooCommerce and WordPress alongside the increase of our own plugins.
