qtranslate and customizr issues

Hi,
I wonder if anybody else using customizr has had this problem with qtranslate:
when changing the language say to french (english is default) everytime I return to home in french language the language would automatically change to default english.

Also, is it to be considered normal that qtranlate would automatically return to homepage when changing language, i.e. instead of staying on the same page but simply translated.

After 10+ hours I could not be succesful finding a solution, so if anyone has a clue, I’d be more than thankful.
