    Hello,

    I want to install WordPress onto a USB Stick attached to my Nas for faster access since the main drive always falls asleep. Is this possible? Can I move an installation that I already made? Thanks for your help.

    Safest way is to use migration plugins.
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/migration/
    (I would prefer Duplicator)

    Thanks for your answer yui,
    I don’t get it to work. as soon as I move the wordpress Folder on my qnap Nas from the Web folder to the USBDISK1 Folder I can’t access it anymore. Looks like all webserver requests are landing in the Folder Web. I don’t know how to change it to the Folder USBSTICK. Do you?
