PWA not working

    Hi!

    I’ve read through many of the issues posts and still cannot figure out why this PWA isn’t working. I set to the ‘New Designs’ page instead of the homepage in settings. Tried multiple browsers after clearing cache. Can you please help? I do not have OneSignal installed yet but am planning too. Is this a manifest issue or operator error? lol

    Thanks for using SuperPWA. I looked upon your website and noticed that all the features of PWA are working perfectly. Also tested over Lighthouse and it scores 100/100 for PWA (Congratulations 👏), here’s the report for your reference.

    Can you please let me know upon which browser and device you tested? So that I help you further.

    I’ve tried Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. None of them showed the prompt message to add to homescreen. I also tried on my iPhone in Safari and Google Chrome. Safari has always had the option to add to home screen but that is not available in Google Chrome on the iPhone. Am I missing something? I’ve cleared the cache on everything! OneSignal is not needed for the prompt message, correct?

    I also tried on my iPhone in Safari and Google Chrome. Safari has always had the option to add to home screen but that is not available in Google Chrome on the iPhone

    Currently upon iOS, PWA only works upon Safari browser and version of the iOS should be 11.3+ We have a detailed document for testing PWA on iOS. Hope you will have a look over it.

    OneSignal is not needed for the prompt message, correct?

    Yes, OneSignal a push notification provider used for sending push notifications upon a website. And currently our plugin is fully compatible with OneSignal, that’s if a user installed the PWA upon their Android device they can view the push notification like how we see over an app installed from a store. But the sad news is Push notifications is not supported over iPhone. ☹️ Probably it will be get supported over the coming version’s of iOS.

    Upon Windows over Desktop, you cannot notice any prompt at this time as we see on Android browser’s. Currently Google Chrome for Windows support PWA, we have a detailed doc for testing PWA on desktop please have a look over it.
