• I can’t seem to find any resources regarding my question (so it might be a stupid question).

Should a page/post cache be refreshed when a page/post is deleted or trashed?

On my test site, the cache is correctly refreshed when a post is created and edited (be it adding or removing content), however the cache is NOT refreshed when a post is sent to the trash, or deleted completely. In order to remove the page or post from displaying, I need to manually purge the cache even though the page/post itself has been deleted.

Is this the expected behavior? Do I need to simply live with needing to manually purge the cache when a page or post is deleted?
