we are facing a problem whereby events are being duplicated and purchases are being duplicated showing on facebook ads….we contacted facebook for woocommerce plugin people and after investigation they asked us to contact here and seek help here on this forum..

this is the reply of the problem we got from them :

Hi @rizwan1209, if you view the source code of the you checkout page (https://www.popstripesonline.com/checkout/)>, you’ll see that the fbq('track', 'InitiateCheckout'event is triggered two times. The first time indicates  around line 200, and the second time indicates and /* WooCommerce Facebook Integration Event Tracking */ around line 1200.

This second snippet is the one generated by the Facebook for WooCommerce extension, but the first snippet looks the code generated by Facebook when “Manually Install Pixel Code Yourself” is selected during Pixel installation (example installation instructions). It seems likely that this tracking code being added by another extension or manually. Perhaps the Code Snippets Pro extension is being used to manually add Facebook event triggers, or the theme templates have been modified to include this code on the checkout page?

can someone guide on how to fix this problem step by step since im not a developer but can follow steps if some one can help

To check this better, please share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (See if there is any error related to Facebook for WooCommerce).
