    Hello,

We use the PublishPress Content Display block in Slider view to display a slider of recent news posts on our website homepage. This previously worked great, but is currently broken – instead of a slider, it now just displays all the news post links in a vertical list which looks awful.

It looks fine in the editor:

But not on the actual site:

This issue persists across all browsers I’ve tested (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, no access to Safari to test unfortunately), and persists on mobile and in private browsing. Clearing cookies/cache has not fixed it, and the issue is there for all users.

I’ve had a look in the console in developer tools and there are multiple errors. I’ve copied and pasted everything here:

Hi @annelieset. Thanks for using PublishPress. Please note that our support for free users is limited during the holidays.

    • Do you have a cache / optimization plugin that is trying to add lazy load to these slider images?
    • Are you running version 3.6.2 of this plugin?

We also run the MetaSlider plugin which might be worth considering as an alternative, as it is a more advanced option. MetaSlider is here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ml-slider/

Thanks for using PublishPress. We’ve not heard from you in 10 days so are closing this discussion for now. Please post back if this remains an issue.
