    Hello dear WordPress-community,

I have been working on a WordPress-Website for the first time and am very happy with the result that I see in the customizer. However, when I access the actual Website, it looks like a hardly customized version of the Theme. I am using OceanWP with Woocommerce and Woocommerze Germanized and also added a lot of CSS in the Custom CSS/JS section.

I already cleared the cache of all my browsers and from WordPress (with WP Super Cache). I already deactivated and re-activated all Plugins but the problem stays.

I used Elementor at some point of creating the Website and switched between the Elementor customizer and WordPress customizer back and forth. Since I assumed the problem was related to that, I deleted Elementor but the problem has not been solved.

Here are some examples of how the pages are shown in customizer and published:

    Home/Shop Page
    Customizer: https://ibb.co/yN5WRK5
    Actual page: https://ibb.co/QfcmbYY

    Product Page
    Customizer: https://ibb.co/ZhVrTmC
    Published page: https://ibb.co/NCSgT5D

    Shopping Cart
    Customizer: https://ibb.co/6nxLmgr
    Published page: https://ibb.co/k5ZQd43

    Contact Form (includes Caldera Forms)
    Customizer: https://ibb.co/VHGwySG
    Published page: https://ibb.co/60Kfb1h

Maybe it has something to do with the CSS I added?
This is a link to the CSS I used:

I would be so grateful for your help, please let me know if you need further information.

    Best,
    Lena

  • Hello,

I checked your site and it is appearing good. Try to view the site on a different browser to see the changes.

    Dear Amit,

thank you so much for your response. I solved the issue! Some days earlier I added a SSL Certificate to the website – I didn’t change the website-URL from http to https in the settings, so the real site was showing the state of customization from the point where I added the SSL. I changed the URL and everything updated!

I appreciate your help and wish you a good day!

Glad to hear that it is fixed!
