    Hello,
for two days I have a problem with my WordPress. Artcles that are assigned to a category and published are not visible any more in the web site after selecting the category; also after search, in Widgets, etc. posts that I publish are treated from WordPress as if they have the status “draft”.
    The web site is http://nutrition-pages.com.
Example: The article “Essen in der Kantine” (in English: “Eating in the canteen”) was assigned to the category “Blog” and published. It can be accessed here: http://nutrition-pages.com/essen-in-der-kantine/. The article “7 goldenen Regeln gesund abzunehmen” (in English: “7 golden rules for healthy weight lost”) was published some time ago under the category “Blog”.
After cicking on “Blog” in the menu, the first post is not seen, only the second one. A third article that I published right now, is also not visible. The search does not find the newly published articles, too.
I connect the problem with the upgrade to 3.7.1.
Is this problem known and do you have an idea about a solution?
    Thank you !

  • Try deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme to see if any are causing the problem. If that fixes it, reverse your steps one by one to find the one causing it.

Thanks. I deactivated not all plugins but the most doubtful. The problem was in qTranslate. It showed me messages that it could not work stable in the newest release. During previous upgrades I ignored those messages and did not have problems. But now I dectivated it. And my problem is resolved. Of course, I hope an update of qTranslate comes soon.

I think I’ve seen some threads along these lines on that plugin’s forum –

ok, thank you for the professional and quick help:)
I’ll follow-up to see what is the status.
I need qtranslate because I maintain a site in two (n future 3) languages and now I get the brackets like:
<!–de … de–> now in the “real” text.

But my initial problem is solved, so you can mark this as resolved.

P.S.: now I found out: if I type the brackets for the language text manually in the text, I can activate qTranslate and it works… of course, this is only a workaround
