Published instead of Draft? (direct workflow doesn't work)

Hi Broobe,

I thought i had everything configured and working and was finally ready to release the blog feature on the site. I just thought i should make a test to see if the posts get published and, to my surprise, they don’t.

Damn. For some reason, even if i click the “Save and publish” and submit the post, it still gets saved as draft.

It drives me crazy! Any ideas?
