Public access to directory

    I have a directory working well in the members area of my organisation’s website, and members can search and find profiles once they have logged in.
    But I want to do something similar in the front end/public part of my website to allow the public to find and view some user roles, ie teachers, but not friends, students etc.
    I have set up the directory for teachers only, but can only get it to work for logged in members, even when in the public area.
    I’ve deleted the search area on the public site until I get it working ok.

    Is this possible, or does someone need to be logged in to Ultimate Member to access any profiles.

    Hi @austat,

    What access settings have you set for your Members page?
    Please go to your Members page and under the UM Content Restriction widget set access settings to everyone.
