pubDate Validation

    It seems as if the <pubDate> format doesn’t validate as a RFC-822 date-time format. It is showing as:
    <pubDate>April 6, 2019</pubDate>

    instead of:
    <pubDate>Sat, 06 Apr 2019 08:00:00 EST</pubDate>

    This is causing problems with my MailChimp email since it isn’t seeing this as a valid date to trigger a new campaign send. Is there a way to change this?

    As I recall the pub date is set to the blog date format , but I will have you look into it.

    i have fixed the pubDate to always show ‘D, d M Y H:i:s +0000’ format instead of blog format
    i would appreciate it if you will check it out and let me know if it worked for you

    please update to version 2.0.4
