PTB Custom Post Type not detected

    Hello,

    I created a Custom Post Type with the plugin “Post Type Builder”, and this post type is correctly detected by Yoast SEO for example, but it isn’t detected by Widget Options.

    I am then blocked to use widgets with that specific Custom Post Type 🤔

    Is there a way to “refresh” the custom post types handled by your plugin ?

    Thanks for using Widget Options! I’m afraid we haven’t added that feature just yet, but it’s been submitted in our list of features or change requests to be considered by our developers for future releases.

    Hello Mej,

    My post wasn’t a feature request but a bug request : you say you handle custom post types, but it doesn’t work.

    Did you watch the video I shared ?

    Thank you for your answer.
    As nobody answered my 2nd message here for 6 days, I thought the responsible here didn’t monitor “solved” topics (and I didn’t know I could “unresolve” it 😅 ) => message received !

    Now, what about this strange behavior with custom post types in your opinion ?

    Btw, if it is not the right place to discuss this issue, please indicate me where to do it. I bought Widget Options Extended to work with Custom Post Types and feel bad because I can’t…

    I would suggest opening a support ticket through Widget Options. You are using the extended version and they will definitely assist you there.

    I would like to let you know that Widget Options visibility feature does not support custom post types created with Custom Post Type UI, Post Type Builder, and other custom post type builder plugins yet. We have considered this topic as featured request. 🙂

    I hope you will take that point very soon…

    In between, you should write that information in the plugin description so that other people are warned, don’t you think ?
