Protected page go public with template

I have a password protected page that is working with the default page template but when I put my template on wordpress doesn’t ask the password anymore (I tried removing the cookies but doesn’t change a thing).

Do you know what do I have to add to my template so that wordpress will ask the password for the page?

(btw the page is using the plugin NextGen Gallery)
