• My problem is related to an earlier post: http://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/protect-files-for-viewing-not-downloading/

So, I have files uploaded to the proper directory and I can download them no problem.

However, we only want level 1 users to be able to see the files and not download them.

I have set level one users to 0 downloads allowed each day. So, when I click on a link to a file, it takes me back to the member options page.

I have tried adding ” pdf ” to the Inline File Extensions list.
I have also tried adding /s2member-file-inline/ as suggested in the link provided above.
I have tried adding ” &s2member_file_inline=yes ” to the end of the file url

In each of these cases, it still treats it as a downloadable file–so, without download permissions, I simply get rerouted to the member options page.

I have also tried adding shortcode inline option [s2File download=”example-file.zip” inline=”yes” /] This one ends up putting the whole file URL on the page without any hyperlink.

If I grant permissions to Level One use to download, it will open the PDF in its own window, but the download option is still there.

The best solution would be for it to display on its own page, but have no option to download.
