The update profile is not working for new users. I have an existing user where I can edit my profile and save the edits. However, a new registered user can not edit the profile text. Images can be uploaded but not the text field. This applies to all profile fields.

Can you please try this pre-release version 1.3.44 in the link? https://github.com/ultimatemember/ultimatemember/releases
Just rename the folder to /ultimate-member/ to match the existing one on your site.

We are almost done with the fixes.
Can you please do the following steps?
1. Deactivate and Activate the Ultimate Member plugin
2. Go to Admin > Ultimate Member > Dashboard > see “User Cache” widget and then click “Clear User Cache”.
3. Test the Update Profile form.

I do the steps and No difference for me, my html update button is :

</div>
And nothing happens on click !
In fact there is no <form> element, so no action and method attribute in my profile form !!
Could it be the reason ?

Can you please Go to Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Page Setup ?
See if the User page is correctly selected. If not selected, this maybe the issue with the update form and button.

I also have no html <form> element in my profile form !
I have created and setup the user page but when I try to access this page it says : PAGE NOT FOUND
How should we setup the “User page” to resolve the problem, please ?

OK it works fine, here’s what I did :
– reinstall 1.3.43 version
– delete account and user page
– create account page with the shortcode: [ultimatemember_account]
– create user page with my own form
– clear user cache
