What “profile” are you referring to, please?

Your WordPress.org profile? Usernames here cannot be changed, so I don’t see how you could have “tried a new username”.

After you paste or upload your screenshot, you should see the shareable link as shown in my image below. Click the “Copy” icon (depicted with the red downward arrow) to copy the shareable link and paste it here.

(Note that you don’t even need to create an account to do this, though creating an account doesn’t change anything: it merely allows you to delete the image later, should you wish to do so.)
