profile builder
-
Hello,
I’m building a freelance marketplace using WordPress.
I currently use Ultimate Member for user registration, login, account management, and user roles. My existing Ultimate Member profile pages are already working correctly, so I do not want to replace or break the current Ultimate Member system.
I’m also using Crocoblock JetEngine and would like to use its Profile Builder for a more customized and dynamic public user profile.
Before enabling JetEngine’s Single User Page / User Page features, I would like to confirm whether JetEngine Profile Builder can safely work alongside Ultimate Member on the same website.
My intended structure is:
- Ultimate Member → registration, login, account, user roles
- JetEngine → custom public user profile layout and dynamic content
- JetEngine → portfolio/project listings and other dynamic sections
I have two user roles:
- Freelancer
- Employer
I would like to have different public profile sections for each role. For example, a freelancer profile would contain:
About | Portfolio | Completed Projects
Could you please advise:
- Can Ultimate Member and JetEngine Profile Builder safely coexist on the same WordPress site?
- Is there any known conflict when both plugins handle user profile pages?
- If both can be used together, which plugin should control the public profile URL/page?
- Is it possible to keep Ultimate Member for authentication/account management while using JetEngine only for the public profile?
- Are there any specific settings or integrations I should use to avoid conflicts with the existing Ultimate Member profile system?
I would appreciate a recommended architecture for this setup before I enable JetEngine’s Single User Page features.
Thank you.
