I was trying to edit the Woocomerce product widget. In the query, I selected manual selection. I tried to put a product category but it will not show the products in that category. I need to insert on by one the product itself in the manual selection.

How do you make it so that when I put the product category, it will show all the products in that category?

    Hello @tyronty,

According to what you have described, it sounds like you are using a 3rd-party widget. Could you please share some more details about the widget you are using Also, have you tried the default Products by Category widget?

    Thanks!

Hello! I am using Elementor Pro. In Elementor, there is the Woocomerce part and I just used the ‘Products’ widget.

I did try products by category but when I tried to use it, it would show all products.

I am also trying to make a shop page for that specific for that product category only.

    Hi @tyronty

I am using Elementor Pro. In Elementor, there is the Woocomerce part and I just used the ‘Products’ widget.

All the widgets included with core WooCommerce are listed here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/

If you are using a widget that’s added by Elementor Pro, you’ll want to reach out to the plugin support directly: https://elementor.com/contact/

I did try products by category but when I tried to use it, it would show all products.

Did you select any categories? If no category is selected, the widget shows all products.

Hello! After double checking, I am using the core Woocomerce widget and I do have 1 product on the category.

Added note* Only latest products seems to work, I tried every other options but nothing seems to work.

Also, the search by product category from Woocomerce also does not work.

When I use the search by category, the search by price widget seems to disappear.

    Hi @tyronty,

I am using the core Woocomerce widget and I do have 1 product on the category.

Just to get a better context here:
    * Does the widget display that 1 product in your chosen category?
    * If the product is not shown, could you check if it is not out of stock?

Also, about something you mentioned earlier:

I am also trying to make a shop page for that specific for that product category only.

You can use the WooCommerce Shortcodes on a new page to show products of a certain category only.
For instance, I can create a page displaying all products in my hoodies category with this shortcode [products category="hoodies"].

    Thanks.

No, it does not display anything when I put that category in Manual Selection.

    The product is on stock.

To check further, could you kindly share with us a URL of your site as well as a screenshot of how you’ve added the said widget at WP-Admin → Appearance → Widgets.

    Thanks.

    Hi @tyronty,

Thanks so much for the screenshots!

We would need to check the HTML output on the site in order to figure out what is happening and why the widgets are not working correctly. I can recommend creating a staging site duplicating exactly the content of your local site and share the URL with us.

If your host doesn’t offer that option, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

We’ll be happy to assist further once we’ll be able to view the source code on your site.

    Thanks!

Hello Mirko! Is it possible to send a staging website to you privately? So that the website at the current state is not publicly visible?

    Hi @tyronty.

Is it possible to send a staging website to you privately? So that the website at the current state is not publicly visible?

Possibly. To determine if you qualify for our premium support, can you send me your system status report? You can find that by going to WooCommerce > Status in your site’s admin area, then clicking “Get system report,” then “Copy for support.” If a URL would be easier, it should be yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-status&tab=status , replacing “yoursite.com” with your site’s actual URL.

Alternatively, if you’ve purchased a plugin from our Marketplace, you should qualify for premium support and can open a ticket directly with our support team here: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
