Products That Determine User Role?

    Hello,

    I’m wondering if there is any way to get WordPress to define a users role based on the product they have purchased? I’ve seen that WP E-Commerce has a plugin for it, however I don’t feel like paying the $50 for it. Are there any free alternatives or another way I can set something like this up?
