My clients products do not sync via the pixel.

We have installed the pixel per the directions (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/facebook-for-woocommerce-products-are-not-displaying-in-facebook-shop/#two-catalogs)

At the end of the catalog set up, it says there are 208 products. When it syncs, Facebook only sees 5 products. I have checked the FTP file at /wp-content/uploads/facebook_for_woocommerce/ and it it showing only 5 products are syncing.

I have removed the catalog, uninstalled the plugin, and tried to set things up from the beginning. It is still failing. Also, the business manager does not see that I have a catalog even though in catalog manager I can see my 5 products.

At some point, I think I accidentally created another pixel (which I have now titled “do not use”) which might be screwing things up? When I installed the pixel troubleshooter from facebook, it shows the correct pixel ID, but if I click “troubleshoot pixel” it goes to the pixel I have titled “do not use”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @rainrosen,

Thanks for reaching out about Facebook for WooCommerce! I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue with syncing your products, but I’ll be happy to help.

Regarding the pixel, you should be able to check if you are connected to the correct pixel under WooCommerce > Settings > Integrations > Facebook for WooCommerce > Pixel. Could you please confirm if you are seeing the correct pixel there?

If any of your products are out of stock, they will not be synced to Facebook. As a starting point, could you please confirm if the products that are missing are showing up as in stock on your site?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

I am seeing the correct pixel under WooCommerce > Settings > Integrations > Facebook for WooCommerce > Pixel

I did discover that some of the missing items are because part of them are in production and I have set to hidden. That’s fine. I am missing ones I expect to be seeing though. They are in stock, show up on the website, and should show up in catalogue and search.

    Hi @rainrosen,

Thanks so much for confirming that for me.

Would you be able to send me a link to an example product that is missing from Facebook? Could you also tell me if the products that are missing are variable or simple products and if any of them are marked as virtual?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    It’s a physical, grouped product.

I have tested it with composite products and they are showing up fine.

    Hi @rainrosen,

Thanks for clarifying that and sending the link. I’m afraid that grouped products are not yet fully supported, though this is on our roadmap for a future release. With that being said, I would like to get some additional details from you on how you have this product configured so that I can try provide some additional information on this for you in the meantime. Could you please send me a screenshot of how you have this grouped product configured?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hey @rainrosen,

It has been a long time since we heard from you, so I’m going to mark this topic as resolved.

If you’re still experiencing issues please take a look at our documentation for more information and create a new thread if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Tamara 🙂
