Products CSV Update – Permalink not updating

I updated the name of my products using woocommerce export / import feature.
All working good, except product permalink.
Old product name : My product 1
permalink: myshop.com/my-product-1
After CSV update product name:
Name: Product 1 new name
Permalink : myshop.com/my-product-1
Expecting : myshop.com/product-1-new-name

Can you please share how are you importing products to your site? Is it thru the built-in Product CSV Importer and Exporter?
If so, kindly be informed that the Product Permalink will not automatically change even after you update the Product Name as you expect it to be. Please also notice this behavior when you are updating the Product’s Name under
Products > Edit.You need to manually change the Permalink by clickingEdit.
Otherwise, if this was added thru a third-party plugin or a custom code, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.
Meanwhile, should you need to bulk-edit the product permalinks on your site, you can check the premium plugin, Product CSV Import Suite.
