product_categories shortcode not working after update

    Just updated to 2.2.4 and the product categories shortcode is no longer working.

    I don’t have a full shop page, I have a number of top level categories that display on their own page, show a list of child categories.

    The shortcode I use for this is

    [product_categories number="150" parent="18"]

    This shortcode now just shows on the page instead of the child categories

    I know it pays to wait but I’m really in the shite with this. Anyone had similar?

    I am not sure about yourt situation, but in the v2.2.0 changelog it says

    Tweak - Removed the shortcode button in favor to WooCommerce Shortcodes

    Maybe the removal of those functions from Woocommerce for a new plugin is the cause its not working.
    Try using that new plugin!
