    This version of the plugin is not really built to handle different levels of sub-category. I have just finished developing a pro version of this plugin which handles sub-categories much better for users like you who wish to have subcategories. It will be live and available in the next few days. I will post an announcement in various places so you can get it. You will not lose product data by upgrading

    Any idea when the pro version will be available? I am working on a project where it would be useful.

    It’s finished. Just writing the documentation and will go live within a few days.
