Product short description wont save

    I am using Shoptimizer theme with up to date wordpress and woocommerce plugins. I am also using WooCommerce Variation Swatches plugin. My product short descriptions will not save unless I remove a specific attribute from my product data. It’s a Select attribute with about 7 items in the list (no special characters just regular words).

    If I remove this attribute from the product data short description saves no problem. If I add it back it will not save. All other attributes are fine.

    Anyone know if this is a known issue or how to resolve this?

    @wpgoose That is strange behavior indeed.

    This attribute that is causing issues, is it a global attribute? If that’s the case, have you tried deleting the attribute and recreating it again?

    After trying the above, if you continue to experience issues, please share a a screenshot of the attribute causing problems, including all its values.

    Yes it is a global attribute. I will try to delete it and recreate it and see if that fixes it.

    Ok I recreated the global attribute and the problem still exists. However, I did some more testing and if I have 10 or less attributes added to the product data then the product short description will save. However, if I have more than 10 attributes added to the product short description then it will not save.

    It does not matter what type of attribute, if there is more than 10 added to the product data product short description will not save.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    @wpgoose To clarify, do you mean that this happens when you have more than 10 attributes or more than 10 values inside an attribute?

    It’d be great if you can share a screenshot of the configuration there.

    It happens when I have more than 10 attributes. The values inside an attribute do not appear to affect it.

    @wpgoose Please share:

    • A screenshot of your attributes on that product.
    • A copy of your system status report. You can find it under WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
