Product category widget not working as expected

    Woocommerce 3.5.4 using sober theme

    I have the product categories in my side bar and have

    Only show children of the current category
    Show hierarchy

    Selected

    Thus it should show the current category and all child categories in the current category

    My landing page is:
    https://mydomain.co.uk/product-category/Mens/

    I have
    Mens
    -t shirts
    -polo shirts
    in my current category but the widget is showing all other top level categories. Including uncategorised etc.

    Any Ideas??

    I think there’s a bit of a misunderstanding on what this widget is supposed to do. From what I understand, you would like to hide all other categories when a customer visits a specific category page, is that correct? If yes, that’s not how the widget is set up to work; it sounds more like you would like a breadcrumb feature that shows the customer where they are.
