    I need support restricting access to product categories.

    I need to set up 5 new roles each with access to a different category.

    It’s not working for me

    Can someone let me know what plugins I need for user role creation and then how to customize the content plugin

    Hello @lisamaryburke,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    You can search for a user role plugin.

    Once you use a plugin such as User Role Editor to create your roles, you’ll see your new roles show up in the Content Control Restriction Editor under the General tab for the Logged in Users setting.

    Check the roles you want to have access. Then, you can set up your Product Category restriction under the Content tab.

    I appreciate your reply but i just cant get it to work.

    I am using user role editor plugin to create my new users.

    I am then restricting access to certain product categories using Content Control.

    It has no affect and users can access all cateegories.

    Can I send you some screen shots of my set up ?
