Product Attributes

    Hi, when importing product attributes, I am given four options: In Variations, Is Visible, Is taxonomy, and Auto-Create Terms.

    I couldn’t find any info on this, so I would like to know how to set these settings properly. What do each of these settings do and when do I use them.

    Hi @marv2

    Here’s what they are:

    • In Variations – Enable this if the attribute is used as a variation (e.g. sizes in a product).
    • Is Visible – Enable this if you want the attribute to be visible on the front-end product page.
    • Is Taxonomy – Enable this to make the attribute a Global Attribute. Disable it to make it a Custom Attribute. Learn more here.
    • Auto-Create Terms – Enable this if you want WP All Import to create the attribute value in the case that it doesn’t already exist.
