Problems with /wp-admin/install.php

    When I go to /wp-admin/install.php I get the following;

    Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

    Both php and mysql are both working OK.

    I have updated the php.ini file with the mysql details (username and password) but still no joy.

    Can anyone help?
