    Hi,
I have a slight problem Relevanssi not founding any pages if I use ä, ö ja å characters in the search.

For example, I have a page containing the word esiintyjät. If I search for
    – esiintyjät – 0 results.
    – esiintyjat – 0 results.
    – esiintyj – many results, with the best one first.

Searches without “special characters” work fine. Database etc. are UTF-8 and everything else seems to be working. I went trough the settings many times, but couldn’t find any working solution.

WP’s built-in search is working fine.

    System and relevant plugins:
    WP 3.1.2
    Relevanssi 2.9
    WPML 2.3.0
    W3 Total Cache 0.9.2.2

Considering Relevanssi is 100% Finnish code, it definitely should work. It works on Kirjavinkit, so looks like a local configuration issue.

What’s in your _relevanssi database? How does the word “esiintyjät” appear there? With correct letters?

Actually, I’m guessing your server is somehow improperly configured and the regexes that strip punctuation don’t work with non-ascii letters and the word “esiintyjät” becomes “esiintyj t”.
