Problems with “moon” icon

Hi,
I need help in 2 topics.
1. the icon of the “moon” on the main bar, which changes black/white.
If user cliks on the moon and the background is changing to black, there is no content (text is black so on black background can not be seeing).I tried everything to delete it or set up as full black / white option (so black bacground white text or white background black text) – I can not find it.
2. Problem translation of tab wigdgets (popular, recent, comments) – where can I translate it to my language?

I have to admit, I’m not css specialist, so maybe this two options have to be change in custom css, but I will be thankful if you could text me, what should I type, as I have no idea. Thanks!
