Problems with Footer
-
I’m using Twenty Twenty Five theme and am using the footer with columns pattern. What I’m trying to achieve is I want Site Logo with address, city, state and zip code, below that meeting times and below that social icons. Next to that I have a Google Map. Next to that is the first of 2 vertical navigation and next is the second vertical navigation.
In my List View under Footer is:
Site Logo
Paragraph (street address, city, state, zip code)
Paragraph (Meeting time)
Social icons (Facebook, etc.)
Google Map (would like to align with top of Site Logo)
Footer Menu 1 (would like to align with top of Site Logo)
Home
Officers
History
News
Footer Menu 2 (would like to align with top of Site Logo)
Events
Gallery
ContactNot sure if the menus need a Stack Block or not since I’m updating a pattern that did not have any. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a little more of a bear to understand after coming from a standard web building program. Thanks

Instead of using columns block ( I presume you are using that ) , I recommend using a group block to enclose the complete footer. Within that you have a Row block to have vertical columns (3 columns I presume going by your description )
Within each column you can have a stack since you would need items there to be aligned vertically.
I hope this makes sense.
Another option is to use one of the ready footer patterns of Twenty Twenty-Five that comes close to what you want, and then adjust items within that. You can also try copying and pasting this pattern and saving it as a footer, and then study its blocks layout , and then amend the background and blocks within.
https://wordpress.org/patterns/pattern/footer-with-background-color-and-three-columns/Hi Nagesh, I have tried to copy and paste the pattern from my pc, but when I go to Editor and try to paste, I don’t get anything. I also tried adding a Page and paste and also nothing. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Thanks
I was able to paste your example into Patterns. In your initial reply you mentioned using a Group Block to enclose the complete footer. I’m guessing that the “Footer with Columns”, which is part of theme, the “Footer” in the List View is the Group Block? I added a Row Block followed by a Column Block and made 4 columns.
COLUMN 1
Site Logo
Paragraph (street address, city, state, zip code)
Paragraph (Meeting time)
Social icons (Facebook, etc.)
COLUMN 2
Google Map (would like to align with top of Site Logo)
COLUMN 3
Added a Stack Block
[Footer Menu 1 (would like to align with top of Site Logo)]
Home
Officers
History
News
COLUMN 4
Added a Stack Block
[Footer Menu 2 (would like to align with top of Site Logo)]
Events

ContactI saved it. When I went back into edit it, all of the Columns as well as the Stack Blocks were gone as if I didn’t do anything.
I looked at your example you put together, but didn’t see a Row Block before the columns as you mentioned; you just had a Stack Block.
I didn’t think that it would be this difficult to edit a footer. Thanks
