Problems with child theme

I’m using a child theme for some little modifications on the theme.
Everything works fine but I want to use some transparency for the background.
I’ve found the line where the background is set but I wasn’t able to modify this correctly.
The function I used is: rbga(255,255,255,0,9)

Hope you know what I mean and somebody could help me.
