Problems with Buddypress

    Hi! I am having an issue with Buddypress. I noticed there were some repair issues listed in the “Tools” section so, I clicked repair on a few of them and ended up getting kicked out of the admin panel. I can upload BP with no problems but, as soon as I activate it I get kicked out. I spent a few hours troubleshooting with my hosting company and they have determined it is a problem with Buddypress. I have tried several different versions of BP and have the same problem. I have also changed the theme and used Twenty Twelve, Twenty Thirteen, etc. and have the same problem. I can access the front end of my site just not the admin panel. You can see on the front end that BP is installed. I currently have no plugins active because we wanted to make sure it was indeed BP. I am running WP version 4.4.1 and X Theme. As I said before it doesn’t matter what theme or version of BP I use I still have the same problem. Any help is greatly appreciated. I posted this message 3 times on the Buddypress forum and it was deleted – please let me know before you delete my post. Thanks!

    Thanks James! This was my first thought also however I tried posting 3 times on the buddypress.org support forum and it was deleted each time. I posted the same message as above.

    Ah, it was probably caught in their spam queue, especially if you tried to duplicate it in rapid succession.

    Hang in there, they usually clear it out every few hours.

    I don’t think that is it – I waited a couple of days between posts. It’s just getting deleted for some reason. I am not quite sure what to do because every time I post it gets deleted.

    Hi James! Yesterday before I changed my username I was able to post something generic just stating I was having problems posting my problem. No problems with that post. I tried posting my issue from above and it still doesn’t make it. I changed my username and waited a little bit and then posted it again…still won’t post. Someone seems to have an issue with my post above because I can post other items with no issues. Any thoughts?

    Thanks James….so far so good. I can’t believe i have been struggling for the last week to get this posted and that was the problem. LOL

    Yeah, usually when the spam filter gets involved, I assume it’s the URL. 🙂
