• I’ve been having some problems with my site recently. Every so often, I am unable to edit my homepage. The EDIT PAGE for the homepage is blank (signifying a PHP error).

At first, I thought this was due to a problem with one of the plugins. So, I went through and deactivated each, one-by-one, and eventually found the plugin causing the problem and removed it (WTI Like Post). I put Advanced Custom Fields last on my check-list, since it is VERY important to how my site functions – so, I never had to “check” ACF, since I always found a plugin causing a problem first.

So, recently, my edit page went down again. I went through my list, found another plugin causing the problem (Related Posts), and removed it. Then I thought about how odd certain plugins were just “not working” and thought about why this could be happening ONLY on my homepage … so I reactivate the “problem” plugin (Related Posts) … and deactivated ACF. This time my edit page worked again. I also reactivated the old plugin that was causing the problem the month before (WTI Like Posts). And my edit page worked.

So … does ACF have alot of issues with other plugins? Are there alot of conflicts? I’m starting to see a problem with using ACF on my site (especially if every month or so, I need to deactivate ANOTHER plugin). Any advice on how to fix this?
