• I’ve tried to set up the appointments lite plugin but I’m having problems.

At the moment I’m using these shortcodes:
    [app_monthly_schedule]
    [app_pagination month=”1″]
    [app_confirmation]

When I go on to the page the plugin is on (http://thecommsguy.com.au/?page_id=77) I can see the calendar, change the months, but when I click on a day or a time nothing happens.

I’ve read through the forum and can’t see any obvious fixes.

I’ve tried deactivating all my other plugins and switching to one of the default themes, but I still had the same problem.

Do you know why this happens? Is there something I might not have set up properly? Using the wrong shortcodes?

    Thanks in advance,
    Oliver.

  • Hey Oliver,

    How are you doing today?

You can try creating page with shortcodes automatically from plugin settings page.

To do that you can create page with shortcodes from the settings page by going to Appointments -> Settings -> Display Settings -> Create an Appointment Page. Select type of calendar from the dropdown, then check the box to create a page and save settings. After that Make an Appointment page with shortcodes will be created.

Please let me know if this helps 🙂

    Cheers,
    Bojan

    Hello,

I’m well, thanks. How are you?

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried your method and it did create a page (although is it possible to remove the service and service provider options at the top, I have only one of each) but I have the same problem: everything shows up, but if I click on a date or a time then nothing happens.

Is there another setting I have to activate? Or has something else gone wrong?

    Hey again civicwebmedia,

There are quite a few JS errors in the console so this is most likely some sort of a conflict.

I’d like to test this on my end as it seems like this is theme related, is that a premium theme?

(although is it possible to remove the service and service provider options at the top

Definitely possibly we can use optional attributes in the shortcodes so we can foce select your service and provider and remove the dropdowns but lets first troubleshoot the javascript issues.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
