    Hello @augustusedem ,

You can type directly your domain addresses like *domain.com* . Don’t forget to add subdomain if exists, like *blog.domain.com* . Type one domain per line.

If you have any other question, don’t hesitate to ask.

    Thank you.

I’ve added my domain to the Redirect URI box like so:
    *watchthishockey.com*

However, I still get the following error when I try to log into Slack:

OAuth Error: redirect_uri did not match any configured URIs.

    Passed URI : http://www.watchthishockey.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=slack-for-wordpress

    Allowed URI : none specified

    Hello @watchthishockey,

    As you see,

    Allowed URI : none specified

It’s mean, you couldn’t set up your Redirect URI in Application Settings of your Slack Application. It’s not about plugin. Are you sure, you save your settings after typing your Redirect URI . Because nothing saved as Redirect URI in your application.

Okay, so I am trying to set it up and used the name ‘WordPress’ and urls of site starting with http:// in both URLs and Redirect URI section. But when I go to Step 2 – Login to Slack, it gives errors. Configured URL not specified or No Allowed URI etc. The URL will be the link to my site, right? like http://www.xyz.com, correct?

Also, can this plugin sent notifications when a post is submitted for review (as pending) in WordPress? And can we customize what alerts are sent to the Slack channel?

To configure your Slack Application correctly, in the Redirect URI box, you must include the entire path/address to the Slack plugin page on your wordpress site.

    So instead of: http://www.example.com

    You need something like: http://www.example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=slack-for-wordpress

See “Redirect URIs” at the bottom of the page of this site for more – https://api.slack.com/docs/oauth
