Can’t post mp4 files to my page without getting message:
this file type is not permitted for security reasons

Could previously.

Someone have a SIMPLE work around/solution?

If the mime type in the MP4 header doesn’t match what WP is expecting for an MP4 file, you’ll get this error. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_allowed_mime_types for a list.

There are currently some issues with MIME types and uploading that should be resolved in WP 5.0.3.
