Problems after updating to wordpress 4.3
-
The update button is not longer working for posts and pages. There is no way I am manually installing as I can screw it all up. If anyone is facing these issues please comment here. If you have a working solution for this without manual installation please help asap. Thanks in advance. My them is TwentyFourteen.
Just to let you know everything worked fine until not long ago. I updated yesterday and did not install any new plugins.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
I confirm this issue, not related to theme, but probably to one of the plugins. I am going to debug this, but this should not happen ever, i.e. WordPress should not let plugins to take over update button.
This is what it gets doing on the backend (admin-ajax.php):
{“result”:1,”message”:”Validation successful”,”errors”:0}
next:
{“wp-refresh-post-lock”:{“new_lock”:”1440061472:2″},”wp-auth-check”:true,”server_time”:1440061472}
next:
{“wp-refresh-post-lock”:{“new_lock”:”1440061497:2″},”wp-auth-check”:true,”server_time”:1440061497}
.
.
.
just keeps repeating with new values ad infinitum@keketovic, You’re probably not facing the same issue. Can you open a new thread? https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform
Thanks James, deactivating the plugins did the trick. I found the plugin that was causing the problems. Thanks for helping me out on this. It was plugin that did caused the problem.
If you have something similar and it is not the plugins switch themes like James said. If it still doesn’t work the solution is very complex. You need to manually install wordpress. If you do it wrong you can kiss your site goodbye. You need to backup everything, google how to do it if it is the only solution.
You’re welcome!
since the update to WordPress 4.3 i no longer have access to my WordPress dashboard and this message comes up when loading the website
