Thanks you for taking time to report these issues.

    1) Do you mean that after editing a post the comment sections is permanently disabled for that post (but can be turned back on in post settings)?

    2) Im not really sure what you mean here. What type of database entries are created and when?

    1) Yes exactly. The post is normally enabled and even has some comments, but when it’s edited the comments section disappears. The Gravity Forms – List & Edit plugin on Codecanyon has the same bug.

2)I’m using this in conjuction with Wp Datatables plugin and it creates a bunch of duplicate posts on the table side. This might be a conflict with that plugin so I don’t really want to bother you with it.

Appreciate you making a plugin to fill this gap in Gravity forms, all other plugins don’t work well so hoping your version works out.

Thanks for reporting this. There was indeed an issue where edited post would not retain the posts comment status.

This was due to a bug in the gravity forms api. I have fixed the issue and posted a new version; 1.1.2. Please update Sticky List and tell me if that solves the comment issue.

Regarding the created database entries; I would need more info on this to be able to investigate. Like you said, this is probably a conflict between Sticky List and the other plugin.

Hey you’ve solved the comment section disappearing with this latest fix thank you. If you could share what changes you made so I can try replicating it in that other List & Edit plugin I would really appreciate it.

There is still that other problem I mentioned and I think it’s related to the custom fields. My Gravity form submits lots of custom fields and when I edit using your plugin those custom fields get re-submitted essentially doubling all the custom fields.

Thanks a lot for your excellent support, if you could either let me know how I can fix the comment section bug (so I can apply to that other plugin) or help solve the custom field duplication, I will really be in your debt.

You can check out the fix for the comment section on this plugins github page. Here is a link to the latest commit. Se the diff on line 706.

Regarding the other issue; like you pointed out these seams to be issues when updating posts that have custom fields. This has been reported by another user aswell and I’m currently working on a new update to solve the issues.

Thanks so much! Would advise putting this plugin on CodeCanyon or something when its done – you definitely deserve to be rewarded for this excellent plugin in the making.

Thank you. If you like you can donate a few bucks. And if you use the plugin, you are more than welcome to write a short review.

I’ll go ahead and mark this support thread as resolved, but I will make a post here as soon as the custom field issues are fixed. Please feel free to reopen this topic or post a new one if you experience other issues.

Hello again. I have released a new version (1.1.3) that should fix the custom field issues you reposted. Grab the new version and let me know if it works for you.
