Not sure what you mean by customize menu. Theme uses normal WordPress menu system and TinyNav in smaller screens.
Right, the normal WordPress customize theme menu no longer works—doesnt appear to be Live Wire theme. All themes act the same. 3.5.2 upgrade messed everything up. Should never have upgraded.
I just updated to WP 3.5.2 on demo site and everything works just fine.

The data displays fine, you just can no longer edit it.
Disable all your plugins and see if it works after that.
