Problem with WordPress installation

    My problem is that I made a new installation of wordpress on top of another with Softaculous, and lost the data I had in WordPress, (no entries, pages or images) but these are in the uploaded elements and in the database as well. Is there any way to recover all that?

    Check the database name *and table prefix* that you see in phpmyadmin (on your hosting control panel), then edit wp-config.php to use that database and table prefix. That will hook WP up to your old content.
