Problem with uploading image on wordpress site on windows server

Hello,

I have a wordpress site recently created. There is no additional plugin installed and working with wordpress default plugins. The site is installed in the subdirectory blog of main site. I have access to blog site only and not main site.

Everything works fine on linux server. But when I move the site at the blog location which is a Windows server, I get following error while uploading the images:

“test.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to E:\WEB\treefort\public\blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09.

It initially seems to be working, but just when it says Crunching 100%, the error shows up.

Can someone please help me know if this is because of Some kind of permissions problem or there is some setting that needs to be done running wordpress on windows server?
