I have Photo Gallery 1.2.67 installed. I can create a gallery and add photos. The photos are located in wp-content/uploads/photo-gallery. An empty subfolder thumb is created in that folder too. All ownwerships are www-data:www-data with access rights 755. The Thumbnails are not shown. When I manually copy the images to the thumb folder, they are shown. Is this the intended behaviour?

    Dear eehmke,

How are you adding the images? Do you use FTP? If that’s so please add the images using Media Upload, since FTP options is not working with our Photo Gallery, since the image thumbnails are being created during the upload, whereas they do not get created using FTP upload. Thank you.

I don’t use FTP at all, because I have command line access. The files I would like to organize in folders, which is not possible with the standard media upload. I just try the plugin “Media File Manager” but this seems also not to work in the expected way.

    Dear eehmke,

You might be missing gd2 extension required for the proper upload of images. Please check that out with your hosting provider. Thank you.
